|  480 talented individuals worldwide are undergoing training

Digital learning, modern technologies, and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams: With the start of the new training year, 105 new trainees and dual students are starting at the Freudenberg Education Center. Fifty of them are starting their training at the Freudenberg Group, and 55 others are starting at around 30 partner companies in the network - including international names such as Amazon and Coca-Cola. In total, the Freudenberg Group is training 375 young people at its site for the job market of the future. “This demonstrates the company's commitment to investing in the long-term future of young people,” says Chief Human Resources Officer Esther Loidl. “We offer professional training in a modern learning environment with high-tech machines and in an international working environment,” says Raul Gonzalez, Head of the Training Center, in his welcome speech.

Technical professions are in particularly high demand: 70 young people are starting their training here alone – the high demand is already leading to waiting lists at partner companies. A total of 50 young professionals are starting their training at Freudenberg, 15 of them in technical professions, 9 in commercial professions, and 26 in dual study programs.

More future-oriented dual IT degree programs

The training center offers a total of around 30 training opportunities – 17 apprenticeships and 13 dual degree programs in the fields of business, technology, and IT in cooperation with the Mannheim Cooperative State University. Three future-oriented IT degree programs have been added: Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Science & Technology, and Cyber Security.

New offerings at the state-of-the-art education center

At the state-of-the-art education center in Weinheim, trainees and students work in interdisciplinary teams, create their own learning maps, and work on tasks collaboratively. With digital offerings such as an interactive math course, Freudenberg also ensures a level playing field and individual learning speeds.

In addition, the education center is expanding its offerings to include socially relevant topics: A series of lectures on democracy education, held for the first time, raised awareness of democratic values, social cohesion, and personal responsibility—and built a bridge to the Freudenberg guidelines.

Freudenberg currently trains around 375 young people at its Weinheim site. Worldwide, there are around 480 in 15 countries. The high number of training places – both within the company itself and for partners in the network – underlines the responsibility that Freudenberg assumes: investing in the future of young people and preparing them for tomorrow's job market. Applications for 2026 can already be submitted on the Freudenberg training homepage at ausbildung.freudenberg.com.
