Freudenberg is striving to achieve ambitious climate goals. Figures from 2021 show a very positive trend. The company is progressing more quickly than planned on reductions of CO2 emissions.

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. Freudenberg wants to reduce its relative CO2 emissions by 25 percent by 2025. We are turning to self-generated energy or are purchasing it to meet our goals. The categories of emissions are defined as Scope 1 and Scope 2, which are internationally recognized terms under the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
