Freudenberg is awarded the "Approved Apprenticing Company" certificate

Velten, July 27, 2010. Freudenberg Schwingungstechnik Industrie GmbH & Co. KG in Velten maintains 13 apprenticeships for four careers. With a total of 186 employees, this company has a high quota of apprentices. IHK Potsdam today presented Managing Director Jörn Clasen with the "Approved Apprenticing Company" certificate.
Freudenberg provides training in Velten for five careers: industrial sales executive, process technician , cutting machine operator, mechatronic technician and Berufsakademie (vocational academy) studies. This year the company will be offering four additional apprenticeships in for process technicians and mechatronic technicians. "We aim to give young people a good start to their careers with our training programs. We are also ensuring that our company is ideally positioned for future success", added Jörn Clasen. "We are therefore particularly pleased about this recognition by IHK Potsdam." Ines Hübner, the mayoress of Velten was among the invited guests.
Training is not at all a dry affair thanks to trips for example to InnoTrans in Berlin, the international trade fair for the transport industry. The trainees can then see their products in use in many exhibits from a wide variety of manufacturers. Freudenberg in Velten mainly produces vibration control equipment for rail vehicles. These components ensure that inter-city, regional and local trains and other rail vehicles negotiate curves comfortably and reliably. The product portfolio of Freudenberg Schwingungstechnik Industrie also includes vibration control components for the wind power industry, for the construction and agricultural machinery industry and for ship's engines.
